Yes. Each clip's audio is re-timed to start exactly where that clip begins in the merged timeline, so audio and video stay aligned across every join. If a clip has no audio, that section is simply silent and the following clip's sound resumes at the right moment.
What formats can I merge and export to?

How many videos can I merge at once?
There is no fixed limit - you need at least two clips, and the practical maximum depends on your device's memory and how long the combined video is. Large outputs are streamed to temporary storage so they are not held entirely in RAM.
Why does merging re-encode instead of just joining the files?
A single video track can only carry one codec, resolution and configuration, so files can only be stream-copied together when they are already identical. Real-world clips almost never are.
